The Marquis de Riviere
This wonderful, historically significant, Stradivarius is a treasure of the "Master of Makers". The violin dates from 1718 during the best period of Stradivarius's work.
This violin has a beautifuly figured one peice back and a lovely golden brown varnish. The Marquis spent 23 years in the able hands of Daniel Majeske, concert master of the Cleveland Symphony.
